Fun but very busy weekend!

So this holiday weekend was very busy but at the same time it was lots and lots of fun! To start off we had a great Thanksgiving, this year we were able to enjoy it with both sides my Grandpa and Grandma Barker were able to come with our Jones side and spend the day so we got the best of both families. Our family was in charge this year and I have to say my Mom and Dad did the bulk of it! Everything turned out great and all the food was delicious! We also were able to have a "Missionary Shower" for my cuz Jed and my bro Jord they are both going on missions here soon so we wanted to get them a couple things. It turned out great and they got a lot of things to help prepare them just a little bit more! I'm so proud of these boys for choosing to serve the Lord! We will miss them greatly but know they'll be the best missionaries out there and know they are doing the right thing! We love you guys lots... Noah and I ended up closing the night off with a visit to the Cardon side to see everyone and eat some yummy Pie! I really am so blessed I have such a wonderful family between my side and Kevin's side which I will always call them family! I love them all so much and am so thankful to be a part of their family!

On Saturday I was able to have the opportunity to go down to the Oquirh Mountain Temple with my mom, Jess, Kip and Grandma and Grandpa Barker! (Jer and Amber we missed you guys) It is a small temple but very beautiful! It was such a neat experience and spirit there was really strong! Next month I think were planning to go to the Draper Temple and I'm really excited about that! I love seeing all the beautiful temples and every time I see a new one I'm in awe and am really amazed at how different and gorgeous they all are! I feel so blessed to have so many temples near me and am able to attend so often! It's truly a blessing in my life! Plus it's tradition that after we go to the temple we go out to eat and Grandpa and Grandpa pay! This time we went to Applebees, and it was really YUMMY!

On Friday I was really tempted to go out shopping but held back. Maybe I'll get the courage to go next year! =) I also did a couple things for work but really just ended up spending a relaxing day with Noah! I really enjoyed it... he is at such a fun stage! That night Noah and I went shopping with Heather and Jake and it was lots of fun... The crowd wasn't so bad and we ended up running into Papa Wade and Grandma Lisa which the boys loved and we got great deals! Jake and Noah are getting at the age where they are watching each other’s every move and copycatting each other in a second! They are both so cute and I hope they will remain really close through the years!

Saturday Night Mikey was up here visiting Blake and we were able to steal him away for the night and take Mikey out to dinner! I love this kid so much and I'm really sad we don't get to see him that much anymore! I hope to change that in the future and really make a point to see him more often! He really can just make you laugh and have a good time! We love you Mikey!

And last but not least we were able to go to my Cousin Jed's farewell! He did such a good job on his talk and I know Jed you'll be such a good missionary! Baltimore watch out because Jed is going to be great! (As long as he follows Jason's advice about the girlfriends and the mission) Ha Ha. As long as you stay dedicated and work really hard and the Lord will direct you! We love you lots... Of course we couldn't end our Sunday off without a visit to our grandparents! So we were able to enjoy their wonderful company like always! What a nice end to our wonderful busy weekend! =)

I really am so Thankful for all of my many blessings in my life and I do hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving Weekend!

I know this is a very long post but I told you it was a very fun and fulfilling weekend but very busy! So I have to say if you got through this GREAT JOB! =) I promise my next post won't be as long!

  6. Hi cassie, we are renting our townhouse for $825/mo. This includes the $85 HOA fee that covers sewer, water, lawn care, snow removal, and garbage. It's not for sale right now but if you were interested we might consider. We'd sell it for $115,000. If you're interested in looking at it let me know and we'll set something up.

p.s. you're little boy is adorable!
