The "Rock"

Noah for some reason for the last little while has loved rocks! He wants to always pick one up on our walks or when were outside playing and doesn't want to put it down before we come inside.

Well last night I was folding some laundry and came across this in his little pant pocket...

I don't remember putting it in there but maybe I did or maybe he somehow found a way and put it in there himself. I didn't think I would have to start checking pockets at this young age but I guess I need to start because this "rock" went through the washer and dryer! I had to laugh as I set it on his dresser for the morning, well as you would believe guess what he saw when he woke up? Yep! The "rock" and he carried it with him all morning long! It's pretty cute if you ask me, but I keep asking myself what is so special about his "rocks" that he finds?

Posing with his "rock"

Ty is getting so active and so much fun these days. These two absolutely adore each other! We set Ty on Noah and they both were so giggly! They'll be such good buddies as the years go on... I Love it!

Play Date...

Today Noah had his 18 month check up and so I decided to take the afternoon off and spend it with him as well as some of our friends. We decided it's been a long time since our little ones have had a play date so we set it up for today!

Kara invited us over, there was Megan and Kambry, Kara and Kaleb and Noah and me. It was so much FUN, Kara made a delicious lunch and we were able to just talk and catch up while our little ones played! It did take some time for all of them to warm up however once they did WATCH OUT! I would be lying if I think our little ones had more fun then we did because it's been so long since I've seen these girls! I love to get together with them and even though I say we need to do this more often (and well it never happens) I really mean it this time that we need to do this more often!

Thanks for such a fun time today, You guys are so awesome and I'm so grateful for our friendship!

Our three little monsters... Aren't they ADORABLE!

Sweet little Kambry!

These two are only 6 weeks apart, they are both at such a fun age! I love watching them interact with each other.

Our handsome little boys!

I also was able to take Noah to his doctor apt and after a long wait everything looks great! He did have to get one more shot and then we aren't going back until he is two years old! YAY! Which I am really excited about as I'm sure he is just as excited because he won't be having to get anymore shots!

Weight: 22 lbs 7 oz
Height: 31 3/4 inches

Because of our long wait I was trying to prep Noah for the dreaded "Shots" and I didn't think he was really getting it, until the nurse came in and started talking to him to distract him and he just kept saying "Mama No" Mama No". He cried for a second and then he was fine however he couldn't get it out of his head. He just kept saying "Shot" over and over again and I would then ask where did the Dr give you a shot and he would point to his leg. The whole way home this went on non stop. It was really cute, he of course told Jess, Kip and Ty a dozen times when we got home and then I decided we would call the grandmas and his Dad to talk to them and explain, they got a big kick out of it! His conversation went a little something like this:

Noah: Hi, Shot!
Grandmas: Did you get a shot at the Doctors?
Noah: Shot! Shot! He would shake his Yes and then babble on about who knows what! Every now and then I would catch a few words I actually understood!

Anyways, this little guy amazes me more and more each day and is growing up way too fast! Noah I love you so much and am so thankful for the time we were able to spend today!

5K, here we come!

So I've always loved to run especially this past fall I've gotten way into running! Well about February Heather my sister in law asked me if I wanted to run in Ogden's 5K on May 15th, I of course said YES! Well she student taught at Country View Elementary this past semester and they had a 5K so we signed up and thought it would be good preparation for the Ogden race. We both were really excited!

Well yesterday was the Country View's race so ready or not we both set out! It was my first time running in an actually race and I was bit excited but a little nervous for my time and whether or not I would run the whole entire 3.1 miles of it! I actually loved it, and am so excited for this next week's 5K. Heather still isn't too sure that she loved it but thought it was just OK, and maybe isn't so sure she'll continue running after next week. =) She really made me laugh the whole entire time, our pace was pretty much right on with each others and we only walked one time and it was only for like 20 seconds. I came in at 29.22 minutes and Heather was right behind me at 29.38 minutes. We placed first and second in our division and were 37th and 38th overall. Not too bad for our first race... right?

Thanks Jess,Kip and Ty for the wonderful cheering as we were crossing the finish line! I was actually going to take Noah in the jogging stroller however Grandma Lisa and Papa Wade came up with a better offer and I'm sure Noah had way more fun with them! Thanks Wade and Lisa for watching him!

Now the real question is whether or not we can beat our time for next week! My bet is we can, Heather is saying she's not so sure... =)

No WAY!!!

I know tell me about it I haven't posted in forever! I always get so disappointed when other people don't update their blog and then here I am and it's been over a month! Well here is to a new start... (don't we get those every now and then?)

So basically I'm just going to say since the last time I posted we have been extremely busy with Vegas/St.George Trip, Easter, Craft Nights, work, playing and chasing after Noah and much much more... If you want to see our craft nights, Easter pics just go visit Jess' blog because it's pretty much the same and thanks Jess for doing all the work for me! =)

This little stinker

will be 18 months here in a couple days, he is seriously growing up so fast and it seems I can never get enough of him! Well he has always been quite the little talker and seriously he adds a word a day to his vocabulary! Well as of yesterday his new word is "No Way" not just "No" but "No Way"! Seriously he is 1 1/2 years old and my baby already has the "No Way" down! Although I shouldn't be encouraging him I have to admit the first time I heard this come out of his mouth I was so shocked and could not stop laughing! Ever since then I've kind of been encouraging him to say this by asking him things I know he'll say "No Way" to such as "Noah do you want to go to bed? or Noah do you want eat some chicken?". (I know bad mom but what can I say he's only this age once and he can only pull this as being cute now)

Here are a couple pictures of this little guy over the past couple weeks! Oh I just love my baby and could just eat him to pieces.. mmmwwahh!

This boy loves stickers...

I love how he always has a different expression on his face!

I know were starting young but he doesn't hate it so why not get the idea in his head! He'll look back and hate that I'll show this picture to his future wife... =)

Eating a tomato that he picked with "Papa Brett"

The other day he would not take off his Mickey hat from Grandma Lisa, it was really cute!

Don't we all make such CUTE nerds? =)
