These past few days...

We have been up to so many fun things! Ready or not here you go...

We had a GREAT 24th of JULY! We went to the temple the day before, which is always a good treat! And we started our day off with going to the parade with my family then going to the mall with Heather, I know weird but it was still fun( I had to buy these bubbles that I've heard wonderful things about at Gymboree yes they were expensive and NO they are not any better then regular bubbles so don't waste your money! Noah also wanted to play and we had to grab the famous Pretzel Maker Pretzel and do a little shopping). We then went home to take a much needed nap(which by the way can I say I just love laying down to take a nap with my little Noah and brushing my cares away for a couple hours and we snooze away. LOVE IT!) After that we went to the RODEO! Yee Haw... I will say it was a bit weird because my lil bro Jord and cuz Jed weren't there with us, but we still managed to have some fun! My nephew Aidan rode a sheep and did AWESOME! Noah was amazed by all of the animals but his favorite part was a toss up between the bulls and the dirt bike motor cross riders, what a combination and all I will say is he better be getting no ideas for when he's older. I will be a nervous wreck if he goes down either of those roads. But he got so excited... Then we ended the night off with not so good fireworks but overall it was a fantastic day!

Kip, Jess and Ty have been staying busy with Kip's family being here from Cali and then they were gone to a family reunion for about 4 days. Well let's just say Noah and I kept busy however it just felt a little empty around here. OK really we MISSED them like crazy and were so glad to have them back but they had lots of fun and we did too. Little Ty isn't so little anymore, he grew up so much these past few days and when he came home he was cuter then ever and so big I just had to hold him for awhile. Here are some random pics that have happened this past week.

We were able to go swimming at North Shore on Friday with some of my friends, and we had a blast!!! When it finally starting being warm this Summer we would go all the time, but we haven't been for a few weeks and it took Noah some time to warm up but when he did we had lots of fun and I can't wait to do it again soon! Thanks Kara, Kaleb, Kamille and Drake for coming!

Today we went to a fundraiser for my friend Travis Child's wife Courtney. She's had cancer before and fought it off, and she's doing it again for the third time. These guys are so amazing and such strong and positive people. It was good to see Travis and I was glad I was able to do something to support them. I went with my friend Lindsey and her three kids, the kids always have so much fun together and I would lie if I said we didn't enjoy the fun chats we have as well! After that we went up to my cousins baby shower and it was so fun to see everyone, play games and eat Yummy food! During all of this Noah was such a trooper but never got a nap so was being not tired or ornery but rather the opposite FULL OF IT! He was kind of getting an attitude and showing off majorly but through it all it was still fun. Well during the shower we discovered my new addiction "Vintage Cupcakes!" Yes I LOVED them before even tasting them... LOL if you haven't gotten one, you need to because you too will become addicted! So check them out at:

So yes my Mom, Amber, Crystal, Noah and I made a detour on the way home to just try one. And you guessed it! I was right, they didn't disappoint they were absolutely AMAZING! We then headed off to my parents to hang out for awhile, we opted to skip fireworks 1. being they were probably canceled because of the rain and the wind and 2. being because Noah was going to be out within in 1 minute in the car. Yep, he was out so fast once we were on the road home.

Families are Forever...

You never know when the ones you love will be taken up to live with Heavenly Father again because he has something bigger and better in store for them above. I can't even imagine what this family, but mostly what this mother has gone through to loose her precious little one, I can't even phathom the thought of loosing Noah. As I sit here my eyes are full of tears as I read this amazing journey through the Sullengers blog

http://www.patrickandashley.blogspot.com/

I do know that we all have trials that come our way and the only way to get through them is to rely on the support and love of family, friends, and the knowledge I have of this Gospel. My trials don't even compare to this families however I know that we are never alone and Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ are with us every moment of every day and every step of the way. Don't take the little things for granite in life, you never know when your life will change in an instant.

I'm so thankful for this Gospel, I know Christ lives and loves us. I know that families can be and will be together forever if we do our part for our short time here on earth. I love my family so much, and and am so thankful for all they do for me! I am especially grateful for my sweet Noah, whom I love very much! He amazes me each and every day, and I'm so grateful for our little family and the time we get to spend together.

My prayers and thoughts go out to the Sullengers!

Sisters

"A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost."- Marion C. Garetty

How true that statement is, Jess and I are so close and always have been. We would laugh, cry, pick out the exact same things while shopping, know exactly what each other were thinking, laugh and cry for who knows what reason and well basically we were just "two peas in a pod" as most people would tell us. Jess and I always shared a room growing up, we always knew that day would come when we would be married and off we would go to bigger and better things in life. So of course those days came but even still we remained close and knew we were both in the right places. I can honestly say we are best friends, all you ladies out there who have sisters know exactly what I am talking about. And now were back under the same roof and I'll tell you what it's been lot's of fun! I'm so grateful that Kip and Jess have taken Noah and I into their home this past little while. Kip's been such a trooper to put up with me and they both are amazing examples to Noah, add Ty to the mix and well let's just say we are Lovin Life and there is never a dull moment!

You know those moments when you both start laughing and you can't stop and either something is funny or you don't know what your laughing about but you keep going. Well tonight was one of those nights where we started laughing and couldn't stop! I was bathing Noah and Jess was in the hall with Ty and we couldn't stop, to the point where I was crying! Noah was looking at me so confused and didn't know what to think because I'm laughing but crying all at the same time! Ty almost started crying looking up and Jess.... Yes one of those nights! Kip came in and wasn't quite sure what to think as he's looking at us, he kind of gave one of those courtesy laughs and yet we were still rolling in laughter and he didn't quite get it! It's these kinds of moments that you'll never forget. It's these kinds of moments that you'll cherish forever!

A couple weekends ago we had Crystal my little sister over for a sleep over. It was so much fun, she is such a great helper with Noah and Ty and they both light up when they see her. She will totally tell you how it is, she is so honest! We had lot's of fun we went shopping, did hair, make up, watched movies, went to fireworks, cleaned and did laundry (which I'm sure she loved), painted nails. You name it, we did it! It was so much fun to hang out and all got matching "high heeled boots" for the fall to match! She was loving it and put them on the next day, in the 90 degree weather! She makes me laugh, I love it!

(yes this picture we are trying to take ourselves, and as you can see we cut off our faces and that's little Noah's forehead! Job well done!)

I am a pretty Lucky girl to be surrounded my wonderful sisters, sister-in-laws and all my friends who are so close to me that I would pretty much call them my sisters. I absolutely love you all and thank you for being such great examples to me through the years, thanks for always being there for me no matter what, thanks for accepting me for who I am!

So always remember to "Capture It AND Remember It"!

Randoms

-Copy Cat-

Noah is quite the little talker and copies everything I say or pretty much that anyone says. I don't think I talk bad by any means but I really have to watch what I say now days! The other day I spilled something and I said "Oh Crap" well soon enough you hear "oh crap" in a much cuter voice though. I mostly call him "babe, baby, honey and boota" very rarely do I call him by his actual name. So every time I say "honey come here" or "Baby I love you" you hear him say "honey come here" or "Baby I love you"... it's quite hilarious being how I'm his mom! lol

-Big Boy-

He got a haircut the other day by Jess and he did so good and let me tell you he looks so big but I love ! =) Most the time when we go into the bathroom he says potty and so I say "Do you want to get on?" and he says "yes" so I put him and he likes it but doesn't quite get the idea to not go in his diaper and in the potty! So we'll keep trying...

-Addicted-

Ok we are officially addicted to either "Slurpee's" or "Snow Cones" I swear to you on a daily basis we usually get one (thanks goodness they are cheap and really close). Noah has these words down pat and says "Mom no-cone" or " Mom Slurpee" daily. I worked from home today and we had such a fun time together but I unfortunately was sick (yes I'm getting a cold in the middle of July) so this was the first day in I don't know how long when we didn't have one because I didn't feel like and I improvised by giving him a little ice cream. Sad, but I think we'll survive.

Here are some pics from this past week of what we've been up to!

I'll love you FOREVER...

I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my BABY you'll be.... Can I just say how much I love this little saying and I always say it to my sweet Noah but usually I switch it up just a little bit and say "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, and all through eternity my baby you'll be." I had this book growing up and I loved it so much, well I finally bought it today for Noah and right before bed time we read it, Noah sat there in a daze as I read it and I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.

As a Mom I feel so blessed and so privileged to be a mother of this AMAZING little boy.

He is what gets me going each and every day, he is what makes me smile when I've had the worst day possible, he's what brings a tear to my eye as I'm walking out of his bedroom after kissing him goodnight as he says "Nigh, Nigh, Luv you", he is what melts my heart as he lays on my shoulder and looks up periodically, holds my face in his chubby hands and plants a big one on my lips, he is what keeps me up as were trying to take a nap and we keep looking at each other and can't stop giggling when we should be sleeping, he is my everything! He amazes me each and every day and makes me want to be a better person, his innocence and purity makes me want to be more Christlike in my everyday life. I don't know how it's possible but I love him more and more each and every day. I cherish every second I get to spend with him because let me tell you they somehow are limited. I heard this before and it's stuck with me ever since, "As much as this little boy needs me, I need him more..." I can't tell you how very true that is! I need him each and every day!

I know I've said this many times before but life is just too busy and crazy! Especially in the SUMMER... So I haven't stayed on top of my blog like I should however I'll be uploading some pics of our "Summer Fun" with family and friends soon.

We hope your having a fun filled Summer and can't wait for all the fun stuff to come these last couple of months. And I really am going to try and stay on top of this Blog, wish me LUCK!
